Most spectra described and interpreted were obtained at 90 MHz and the sample dissolved in CDCl3 solvent (trichloromethane in which the 1H atom has been substituted by a the 2H isotope - hydrogen-2 or deuterium).

In terms of coupling from the possible proton magnetic orientations I have only considered the interactions of protons on adjacent carbon atoms e.g. -CH2-CH3, protons BUT NOT e.g. CH3-O-CH2 protons.
