We live in the North Yorkshire Moors
National Park and have a great drive across to the Lake District
National Park

Driving over from the
North Yorks Moors you get a quick
glimpse of Brough Castle as you leave the A66 and head west on the A685
road to Kendal.

Its a nice run on the A685
with good views towards Bowderdale to the south.

Before you drop down into
Kendal you get a last few of the Howgills
on the other side of the M6 and the north west mainline.
