We used the Liverpool YHA Youth Hostel as base for our photographic trip to the great City of Liverpool in 2011

Perfectly adequate for budget accommodation needs!

The Maritime Dining Rooms in the Maritime Museum of Albert Dock, not far from the Albert Dock YHA Hostel

The Quayside Cafe near the entrance to the Maritime Museum and there is a lovely picnic area outside under the colonnades that looks out on the fine buildings and boats of the Albert Dock.

As a special student treat, a visit to the Yuet Ben was our favourite 'special' Chinese restaurant in the early 70s

The Baltic Fleet Pub is a real old fashioned sailors pub in Wapping and the name reflects one of the maritime connections of Liverpool. It also the location of the Wapping Beers Micro-Brewery in this Grade II listed building!
