The Inishnee Loop Walk is a scenic and tranquil trail located on Inishnee Island, off the coast of Roundstone, County Galway, Ireland. It offers breathtaking views of Connemara’s rugged coastline, Roundstone Bay, and the Twelve Bens mountains.

Trail Details
- Distance: Approximately 4.9 km to 6 km, depending on the route.
- Duration: Around 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes.
- Difficulty: Easy, suitable for most fitness levels.
- Terrain: Minor roadways, old laneways, and coastal paths.
- Waymarking: Purple arrow on white background.
- Dog-Friendly: Allowed under effective control.

At this point is a road to the east you can loop back on, but we carried on south for some distance.

Heading back to the road junction on the west side of Inishnee Island

Back at the road junction, north is back to the road bridge, but we now turn east to complete the marked loop walk.

We are now going along a very minor country road with fabulous views to the east again.

The road now turns north becoming a simple track - lovely green pathway with views and wild flowers.

Then on to Inishnee Harbour.

Cloonile Bay (with fisherman) is a northern branch of Bertraghboy Bay located on the east side of Inishnee Island that divides it from Roundstone Bay to the west.

Leaving Inishnee Harbour, the road winds round to join the 'main' road from which we head back north to the road bridge and awaiting car after this absolutely great scenic walk and very easy on the limbs and feet.
