Magnetic energy

With magnetic energy you are dealing with
the
repulsion of like poles and the attraction of unlike poles:
(N <=> N and S <=> S) and the
attraction of unlike poles (N =><= S).
Magnetic energy stores in action.
Work is being done as the
magnetic poles repel or attract.
Any attraction or repulsion
movement of magnetic poles involves a force acting through a
distance, so work is done and energy must be transferred.
Work is done when a magnet picks up
an object like a piece of iron.

with the flow of an electric current or production of magnetic fields by
