Beverley Minster: St John of Beverley founded this church. He was Bishop of Hexham from AD 687-705 and Bishop of York from AD 705-718. He was born at Harpham and died in Beverley in AD 721.
Much of what you see of Beverley Minster today was built from 1230 to 1450.
