Thirsk Hall by St Mary's Church (tower on right). Thirsk Hall was originally a five-bay, two-storey brick building from around 1720--1730. In 1771-1773 John Carr added three-bay wings (e.g. on right) and a top storey to the centre

At Thirsk Hall the sculptures laid out in a garden and parkland landscape.
