Walking north down through the meadows to the River Ure and passing under the old trackbed of the Hawes to Garsdale Head railway.
You then walk north-east and then round to Haylands Bridge.

This low hill feature is a ? of glacial origin, in upper Wensleydale you get drift tails, moraines and drumlins.

The Church of St Mary and St John, Hardraw Village, built 1879-1880, Wensleydale, the 2nd church built on the site of an earlier medieval chapel.

To the right of Bertha's Cottage is the path up to Hardraw Waterfall.

You can walk up left to be above the waterfall or keep level all the way to Hardraw Force.

From Hardraw village you walk east to the hamlet of Sedbusk'
