The North Eastern Locomotive Preservation Groupís recently overhauled Class J72 69023 JOEM is an 0-6-0T tank engine built in Darlington Works in 1951 to Worsdell Class E1 NER design of 1898. 69023 was designed and used for shunting carriages at stations and freight wagons in goods yards.
