Class 50 Co-Co diesel-electric locomotive 50007 SIR EDWARD ELGAR with GWR styled number and name plate. 50 007 was built by English Electric at their Vulcan Foundry in 1968 (was D407, D 407). As 'boring' diesels go, its not bad looking!

 

Class 26/0 Bo-Bo Sulzer powered locomotive 26007 (D5300) built at British Railways Crewe Works in 1958.

 

Orange-brown ('golden ochre') liveried A1A-A1A Brush powered Class 31 D5830 (other possible numbers D 5830, 31297 31 297, 31463 31 463, 31563, 31 563) built at Brush electrical Engineering Company, Loughborough, Leicestershire in 1962).

Co-Co Diesel locomotive Type 37 255 in a dilapidated state at Quorn and Woodhouse Station (other numbers D6955, D 6955, 37255). Built by English Electric at the Vulcan Foundry Works in Newton-le-Willows, Lancashire in 1965.
