HABER SYNTHESIS OF AMMONIA - A computer mathematical model

When you run the computer simulation package (link below) your choices are as follows

1. Theory introduction

2. Equilibrium % ammonia yield versus pressure for various temperatures

3. Equilibrium % ammonia yield versus temperature for various pressures

4. Ammonia production plant control simulation

5. Calculate Kc and % ammonia for a particular temperature and pressure

PLEASE NOTE: (1) This software will only run on WIN 98/ME/2000/XP/VISTA etc. (2) For Internet Explorer, you are offered the choice of RUN or SAVE, for most other browsers you are only offered the choice of SAVE e.g. save the file to Desktop and run it from there.

RUN/SAVE THE SYNTHESIS OF AMMONIA MATHEMATICAL

YOU CAN CLOSE THE WINDOW AT ANY TIME TO FINISH USING THE SIMULATION

YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE THE MOUSE - just use the keyboard

Trial version NH3syn.exe - report any problems please - EMAIL query?comment

This simulation package was originally written in BBC BASIC V, a programming language from the 1980's onwards that was used on the 'old' BBC Micros and Archimedes computers. They have been converted into an executable file that will ONLY run on WIN 98/ME/2000/XP/VISTA pc/laptop operating system by using the BBC BASIC for Windows written by RT Russell, and it gives some of my work from the 1980's and 1990's a longer useful life! For security from potential virus dangers etc. these executable .exe files are produced in an upto date Norton 360 antivirus-firewall environment but although no software running problems or security issues have been reported, you do run these executable files at your own risk, but I cannot foresee any problems myself.
